For NAMDRC’s 35th Annual Meeting and Educational Conference we travel back to California Wine Country to The Fairmont Sonoma Mission Inn and Spa, 100 Boyes Blvd., Sonoma, CA.

The 2012 program is entitled, “Cutting Edge Science: Practical Applications for Your Pulmonary Practice.” It is designed to provide meeting registrants with a broad cross section of clinical information that should serve as an excellent educational opportunity. The content will include cutting edge technology and timely information regarding pulmonary hypertension; interstitial lung disease centering on sarcoidosis; the future of sleep medicine; perspectives of national health policy and its impact on pulmonary medicine; new science in early detection and treatment of lung cancer; long term ventilation; pulmonary rehabilitation and evidenced based outcomes; hospital safety and quality assessment components; standard of medical care for futile and non-beneficial treatment as well as a targeted range of management and practice issues.

Sessions will be interactive via wireless communication units and speakers have been specifically instructed to take advantage of this important interactive opportunity. The three half-day educational sessions begin at 7:30 a.m. and conclude each day by 12:30 p.m. to ensure that everyone has the opportunity to enjoy the sights and spirits of the California wine country.
